MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. A special section is devoted to the key provisions of the government bill on raising the retirement age, appeared on the website of the Pension Fund of Russia, said on Wednesday the press service of the FIU.

“On the website of the Pension Fund of Russia has opened a special section ( on key provisions of the new bill on pensions, which had previously been made by the government of Russia to the State Duma. To navigate through the banner on the home page of the website of the Fund”, – stated in the message.

The new section provides information about the major changes in pension legislation, under the bill, the timing of the implementation of its provisions, as well as what category of citizens it applies .

“Section contains answers to questions such as: what changes wait for current retirees, how will increasing the age of retirement, in any of the categories of beneficiaries age retirement remains unchanged and will continue to do the special pensionable service on early retirement, and other issues,” – said the press service.

The government of Russia on June 16 submitted to the state Duma a package of bills on changes in the pension system. They stipulate a gradual increase in age of retirement to 65 years for men by 2028 and to 63 years for women in 2034. The increase is proposed to carry out in stages from 2019. Currently, the age of retirement for men and women is 60 and 55 years respectively.

It is planned that the document will be considered until the end of July only in the first reading, subsequent readings it will be held in the fall.
