In Kiev on Khreschatyk street from 21:00 Friday, September 27, at 7:00 Monday, September 30, will limit movement of transport in connection with the third International festival of light and media art Festival, Kyiv Lights, reported in the Kyiv city state administration.
“On September 28-29 on the Khreshchatyk will last the third international festival of light and media art Kyiv Lights Festival. In this regard, from 21:00 on September 27 at 7:00 on 30 September on the main street of the capital will forbid the movement of all modes of transport – from the intersection of Khreshchatyk street and the street Architect Gorodetsky to the intersection of Khreschatyk street and Bohdan Khmelnytsky street,” – said in a statement on the website of the city hall on Friday.
In addition, from 21:00 on September 27 at 7:00 on September 30 buses No. 24 and No. 114 will be run through Saint Sophia square.
Within two days, the media artists from around the world will make light installations. The festival opens at 20:00 on 28 September near the KSCA. The facade of the building will be turned into a big screen for the international competition of 3D videotaping. A notable event of the festival will be the launch of “Beam dreams”, which became the basis for 100 thousand children’s drawings, collected from all over Ukraine. The project combines 3D mapping and augmented reality AR.
