Russian Paralympic athletes

MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. The international Paralympic Committee (IPC) on 1 February 2018 will determine which competitor will receive a two-way invitation to the Paralympic games in South Korea’s Pyeongchang. This was reported on the website of the Russian Paralympic Committee (RCC).

In the release notes that the possibility for Russian athletes to take part in the winter Paralympics in 2018 remains in case of restoration of RCC membership in the IPC. When you restore the ASM will be able to apply to bilateral invitations, which will be considered by the IGC 8-25 Jan. February 1, 2018 IPC will determine who will receive an invitation to the Games.
Also the Russian sportsmen have the opportunity to get to the Paralympics quota in that case, if they refuse the national Paralympic committees of various countries . The distribution of such quota will be implemented until 31 July 2017.
Paralympic winter games 2018 will be held from 9 to 18 March.
