The Minister of internal affair Arsen Avakov said that the Pechersk district court of Kyiv has already started the court session on election of a measure of restraint to detained officials of the tax administrations in the framework of a major anti-corruption operation.

“Now there are investigations, today has already started the relevant trial in the Pechersk court of Kiev, and I am asking support from companies that have not happened, as always. And I hope that a sufficiently high collateral, which we offered along with Prosecutor’s office, will work, and we will receive a decision”, – said A. Avakov at Cabinet Council of Ministers on Wednesday .

He also informed that in the framework of “operation detained a former head of the Ministry of revenues in Dnipropetrovsk oblast Shynkarenko, head of the tax service in the Luhansk region and the former Governor of the region Antipov, head of the tax administration of Crimea tsvirkun, heads of tax departments of the Svyatoshinsky, Darnytskyi, caves, Podolsky, Shevchenko districts of Kyiv, the Deputy head of the tax Poltava region, head and Deputy head of the Ministry of revenues in Kharkiv region, head of the tax inspection of Poltava, as well as officials of the tax service of the Dnieper, Odessa, Lugansk and other cities.”
