ANKARA, February 10. /TASS./ The number of Turkish soldiers killed on Saturday during operations in the Syrian Afrin, increased to 11. This is stated in a statement released by the Turkish General staff.

Earlier it was reported about the seven victims of war. Two of them were the victims of a helicopter crash in the province of Hatay on the Turkish-Syrian border.

“Four of our comrades were killed during “operation Olive branch” in Afrin, another two soldiers were injured”, – reads the statement of the General staff.

According to recent reports, the Afrin since the beginning of the operation has already killed 30 Turkish soldiers and injured more than 70 . As claimed by the Turkish armed forces, during this same time, they “neutralized 1141 terrorist.”

The General staff of the Turkish armed forces announced on 20 January on the beginning of “operation Olive branch” against Kurdish armed forces in Afrin, which Ankara considers a terrorist.
