Virgil van Dijk has received two awards from UEFA.

Thursday, August 29, during the ceremony the draw for the group stage of the Champions League 2018/19 was named the best player of the tournament last season.

So, the award for the best player of last Champions League got Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk, ahead of the vote and Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Note that van Dyck was also the best defender in the main Eurocup tournament last season.

We will remind that it became known to all rivals of the group round of the Champions League – 2019/20.
