In Kiev two unknown on the morning of 8 November they attacked the member of the evaluation Committee of the Prosecutor General, the founder of the expert organization StateWatch Alexander Semenova, the police establishes the circumstances of the incident.

“Today, about 8 hours on the scrambler 102 in the Goloseevsky police Department, 30-year-old lawyer, it was reported that the house on the street Maksimovic ran up to him two unknown and sprayed in the face with tear gas. The applicant added that after failing to get his smartphone men fled”, – informs the Department of communication of the police of Kiev.

Police began a complex search actions directed on establishment and detention of the persons involved in the incident. The affected doctors provide medical assistance.

The information collected on this fact brought in the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations (ERDR), opened criminal proceedings under part 4 of article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.

The sanction of article prescribes punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of three to seven years.

In turn, Semenov on his page in Facebook reported that at 7:45 it was attacked with brass knuckles.

“If someone thinks that one attack you can stop me the fight for a new Ukraine, it is a waste of time. Today at 7:45 at St. Maksimovic, 2 in I was attacked. The knuckles (or something very similar), spray Teren 4M, two guys,” – said in the message.

He added that the police officers recorded everything in a procedural manner, and “criminals, as customers will be looking for”.
