“I welcome the political decision of the ambassadors of the EU member States to apply new sanctions against Russia for the illegal delivery of turbines “Siemens” in temporarily occupied Crimea. 4 more Russian individuals and 3 legal entities now fall under fair restrictive measures in response to their cynical and deliberate breach of the contract”, – wrote the head of the Ukrainian state on the page in “Facebook” on Wednesday.

In his opinion, “the precedent “Siemens” should be punished to never happen again.

Earlier, Germany urged the European Union to add four Russian citizens and companies to the sanctions list because of the scandal with the supply of turbines by Siemens in the Crimea.
