ROSTOV-ON-DON, July 10. /TASS/. The authorities of the Rostov region believe that during the world championship on football of 2018 the region will be enough prepared by the hotel Fund. The journalists told the Deputy Governor of the region Yury Molodchenko.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the organizing Committee “Russia-2018” Vitaly Mutko said that up to 1 million tourists may come to the world Championships to be held in Russia next year.

“We have no problems with the location of the customer groups and guests of the 2018 world Cup, we are working on it, hotels are introduced in time. Now, contracts are concluded in “Match Accomodate 2018” (the official operator of the FIFA client groups, spectators, employees of the agencies to ensure the safety during the preparation and holding of the 2018 world Cup – approx . According to the press service of the regional government, now with hotels of Rostov region signed agreements for 825 rooms to accommodate client groups of the International football Federation (FIFA). Pending are contracts with seven hotels on room 331. At the signing of contracts total amount to 1156 of rooms that will exceed the minimum requirements of FIFA.

The Deputy Governor also said that the previously halted construction of the hotel Hyatt Regency Rostov Don-Plaza was reopened to complete the work planned before the end of the year. “Today we have no worries that the project will be completed in time. And the project initiators, investors and the construction company assured us that. If necessary, the group’s construction forces will be increased, so that the work went according to plan,” – said Molodchenko.

He also added, milking the project, the regional government together with the investor study the issue with GC “Vnesheconombank” for the resumption of the line of credit to complete construction until December 31, 2017. The Bank has decided to increase a credit line of up to 3.6 billion rubles. The matches of the 2018 world Cup will be held from 14 June to 15 July at 12 stadiums in 11 cities of Russia: Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Sochi and Rostov-on-don. “Rostov-arena” will host four group stage games, as well as meeting the 1/8 finals.
