The leaders of Russia and Belarus intend to visit one of the sites in Russia.

The presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko plan to attend strategic exercises Zapad-2017, which will be held maneuvers of the two armies. This is reported by Izvestia with reference to the press-Secretary of Russ ian President Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, the two heads of state intend to visit one of the sites in Russia.

The last time Putin and Lukashenko together watched the maneuvers of the two armies four years ago, during the exercise Zapad-2013 – first in the Grodno region of Belarus, and then flew to Kaliningrad oblast of the Russian Federation.

Recall that the Russian-Belarusian military exercises Zapad-2017 will be held September 14-20. In them it is planned to involve approximately 13 thousand military.
