MOSCOW, March 10. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting with members of the security Council of the Russian Federation, reported the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.

“During the meeting discussed various topical issues of Russian domestic socio-economic agenda. At the international level, there was an exchange of views regarding the Syrian settlement, including taking into account the current negotiations with the Turkish side”, – he added.
Putin held talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan . Following the talks, he said that thanks to the coordinated actions of the Russian Federation, Turkey and Iran ceasefire in Syria largely holding, as well as “cautiously optimistic” with respect to prospects of settling in that country.
According to Peskov, the meeting was attended by the speakers of both chambers of Parliament Valentina Matvienko, Vyacheslav Volodin, the head of the Kremlin administration Anton Vaino, the Secretary of security Council Nikolay Patrushev, Minister of foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, defense Sergei Shoigu, interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, head of the SVR, Sergei Naryshkin, special envoy of the President on issues of environmental activities, environment and transport Sergei Ivanov.
