KOKTEBEL /Crimea/, August 20. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday evening visited the international jazz festival Koktebel Jazz Party in Crimea.

The head of state came on stage before performing one of the songs. It was presented to the public as a great lover of music and “above all the President of Russia”.

Vladimir Putin welcomed the participants and thanked the organizers of the festival, noting that over the 15 years of its existence it made about half a hundred of the world’s leading jazz bands. “Music is a language that needs no translation and unites people,” he said, then went into the hall to listen to music .
