KRASNODAR, may 23. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Krasnodar visited the complex of gyms “champion” before the meeting of the Council for development of physical culture and sports.

The Governor of Krasnodar Krai Veniamin Kondratiev showed the President a layout of a Multipurpose sports complex, said the complex has halls for artistic gymnastics, Sambo, wrestling and even bullet shooting. “Trying to build a pool of five bowls,” – said the head of the region, noting that the sports complex provides the opportunity classes of the disabled. He added that the regional authorities are trying to make it so that gyms were for children within walking distance. “In the areas required additional 280 sports schools,” – said Kondratiev.
Putin then visited the hall of gymnastics . During a visit to the complex he was accompanied by the Minister of sport Pavel Kolobkov, the President of Federation of sports gymnastics Vasily Titov, and Deputy Prime Minister, Vitaly Mutko. The President looked like a trained gymnast. In particular, he stopped at one of the shells, where he was engaged in ten-year-old Nastya. After the execution of gymnastic exercises, the President met a girl and wished success.
He also carefully watched the training of young gymnasts. The head of state at the request of the children are done with them for a few photos. After photographing one of the children he wished him happiness. “You too,” replied the young athlete.
The head of state also visited the wrestling gym.
The complex of gyms “champion” is the third sports facility, part of a Multipurpose sports complex, it was completed in may 2014. In this complex are 11 halls in nine kinds of sports: gymnastics, acrobatics, rhythmic gymnastics, wrestling, Boxing, weightlifting, fencing, shooting, jump on the trampoline. The total area of the complex is 43,75 thousand square meters. The project was carried out at the expense of the regional budget, the cost was 1.95 billion.
The complex, equipped with the most modern sports and technological equipment, it is possible to conduct large-scale competitions and high level events.
