The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the repeated second reading the law “About the basic principles of ensuring cyber security of Ukraine”.

The adoption of such a decision on Thursday voted 257 deputies.

As already noted, the purpose of the document defined the creation of a national system of cyber security as a set of political, social, economic and information relations along with institutional and technological measures through an integrated approach in close collaboration between the public and private sectors and civil society.

According to the explanatory note to the document, experts in the field of cybersecurity most of the leading countries of the world celebrate a steady trend to a significant increase in the number and range of cyber attacks aimed at disrupting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of state information resources, including the objects of critical information infrastructure .
