The Verkhovna Rada has not supported a draft law (No. 7000-E) on cancellation of the decision on the adoption of the law on state budget for 2018.

The draft resolution on Wednesday voted only 65 deputies (at a necessary minimum 226 votes).

According to the author of the draft resolution – the extra fractional people’s Deputy Yuriy Levchenko, a vote as a whole according to the law on state budget for next year should be abolished, because it was held “rude violation of the Constitution and rules of procedure of the Verkhovna Rada”.

In addition, MPs are not supported (only 41 vote) draft resolution No. 7116-P about cancellation of the decision of the Verkhovna Rada of 7 December on the adoption of the law “On amendments to the Budget code of Ukraine” .

Thus, after the Parliament did not support the resolution on the abolition of voting for the state budget for the year 2018, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy will sign the law on the state budget and send it to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
