Real wages in Ukraine in November 2017 compared to November 2016 increased by 21.4% compared to October 2017 – 0.5%, reported the State statistics service on Thursday.

As noted by the state statistics Committee, the average nominal wage of full-time employees in November compared to September 2017 increased by 1.4%, in annual terms – by 38.3%, to 7479, while in October – 7377 UAH in September – 7351 UAH August – 7114 grn.

According to statedata, the largest increase in average wages of full-time employees in November compared to October 2016 was seen in Ternopil (by 50.6%), Khmelnytskyi (50.2%), Volyn (48,8%), Kherson (48.3%), Transcarpathian (47.1%), Zhytomyr (by 46.9%), Vinnytsia (by 46.8%), Ivano-Frankivsk and Kirovohrad (44.6%), Chernivtsi (44,0%), Cherkasy (by 43.8%), Sumy (43,0%), Chernihiv (42.1%), Lviv (40.7%), Dnipropetrovsk (by 39.8%), Mykolaiv (37.5%), Odessa (38.8%), Poltava (37.2%) regions and Kyiv (29.2% ).

In the Donetsk and Lugansk regions (excluding part of the area of the ATO) wage growth amounted to 34.6% and 25.1%, respectively.

The highest level of salaries in the last month recorded in Kiev – 11643 UAH, the lowest – in Chernihiv region – 5898 UAH.

In November 2017, compared with the same month in 2016, the wages increased in education (by 57.4%), public administration and defence, compulsory social security (by 51.7%), agriculture, forestry and fisheries (44.8%), in the sphere of administrative and additional service (39,0%); in the field of temporary accommodation and catering (37.2%); in the field of wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (33.1%), industry (31.6%), construction (31.4%),transportation, warehousing, post and courier activities (by 31.2%), information and telecommunications (27.6%), operations with real estate (28.8%), financial and insurance activities (by 26.8%), in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 28.2%).
