Culture news: the Festival will be held from 3 to 8 July at ENEA.

British rock band Placebo will headline the festival Weekend Atlas, which will be held from 3 to 8 July at the exhibition center in Kiev, according to organizers on the event page on Facebook. It is noted that the performance of the team on July 8th.

The Placebo group was formed in 1994 by musicians Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal. In January 1996 the band signed a record deal with Hut Records and 17 July the debut album by Placebo. The New York Times compared them with groups of “the first wave of post-punk rock, particularly New Order, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, early U2 and Talking Heads. The last album was released in 2013. Placebo collaborated with such legendary musicians as David Bowie, Robert Smith and Michael Stipe .

Previously one of the headliners of the festival were announced as the best DJ in the world Martin Garrix . DJ became known for the track Animals, which was in the top 10 in more than 10 countries. The track came in first place for shopping in an electronic store, Beatport and held the first position in countries such as Belgium, Ireland and the UK. His single Wizard, produced with Jay Hardway, was successful in many countries in 2014.
