MOSCOW, August 29. /TASS/. Federal air transport Agency of Russia (Rosaviatsia) withdrew the restriction of the air operator certificate of the airline “Nordavia”, introduced in may 2017, the press service of the Ministry.
“The order of the Federal air transport Agency dated 31 may 2017, “that the limit of validity of the air operator certificate of joint stock company “Nordavia – regional airlines” is repealed”, – stated in the message.
In July, the airline “Nordavia” explained that the introduction of restrictions is connected with corporate dispute claims against Russian businessman Dmitry Chertok to “Nordavia” for the return of technical debt. Currently, the airline has sent to the Federal air transport Agency’s appeal on the abolition of restrictions.
The airline “Nordavia airlines” operates scheduled and Charter flights from the North-West Federal district at Russian and foreign airports . The passenger traffic of the company in January – March 2017 amounted to 209 thousand passengers (an increase of 63%, a 16-th place in Russia).
The fleet consists of nine Boeing 737-500.
