The Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation declared persona non grata a diplomat of the Ukrainian Consulate in St. Petersburg in response to the decision of the SBU to expel the employee from the Consulate General of Russia in Lvov, accused of recruiting a local resident, reports “Russian conversation”.
In the domestic foreign Ministry explained that in may this year, Ukrainian security services have carried out another provocation, unnecessarily announcing the employee of the Russian Consulate General in Lviv persona non grata.
The Ukrainian side has not provided any evidence of illegal activities of the Russian diplomat. Kiev three months did not disclose this information in connection with the “political games”, said the Minister.
