Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov won bronze in the pairs competition at the world figure skating Championships. The medal became the first for Russian national team at the 2017 world Championships

Tarasova and Morozov managed to secure third place, which they occupied after the short program. In any program they showed the fourth result, however, of points was enough to win bronze.

First place went to the Chinese Wanting sui and Cong Hai, the second German pair of Aliona Savchenko and Bruno, Mass. Another Russian Duo Ksenia Stolbova and Fedor Klimov, took fifth place.

For Tarasova and Morozov’s medal became the first in career, won world Championships. Earlier this season, the Russians won the European championship and the final of the Grand Prix series .
