BUDAPEST, July 23. /TASS/. Russian Kirill prigoda was qualified for the final of the world championship in swimming in the 100 m breaststroke. The world championship on water sports passes in Budapest.

Prigoda finished second in his heat, showing the results of semi-finals eighth – 59,24 seconds. Another Russian Vsevolod Zanko was the sixth in his heat, showing the results of the semifinals of the 13-th result (59,76), he failed to reach the final.

First time in the finals of the Olympic champion, Britain’s Adam Peaty (57,75). The second result showed the American Kevin Cordes (58,64), the third – his compatriot Cody Miller (59,08).

The final in swimming on a distance of 100 m breaststroke men will be held July 24. The world championship in water sports will end on July 30 .
