MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Saudi Aramco is studying the possibility of joining the project of “NOVATEK”, while no concrete plans, told reporters the head of the company Nasser Amin.

“We are not yet concrete negotiations with them. We study the possibility of cooperation with some companies. But what you say while no specific plans”, – he told, answering a question about the company’s plans to participate in the second LNG project of NOVATEK.

“Arctic LNG 2” is the second project of NOVATEK’s liquefied natural gas, in addition to the “Yamal LNG”. The company is considering building a new LNG plant on the Gydan Peninsula, natural gas for liquefying to flow with the Morning oil and gas condensate field.

Nasser added that Saudi Aramco will not discuss the participation of Russian companies in the IPO (initial public offering) companies during the visit to Russia by the king of Saudi Arabia .

State Saudi Aramco is the world’s largest oil company, which is estimated at $5 trillion, plans to sell up to 5% of the shares in the IPO, which could become the largest in history.
