MOSCOW, August 21. /TASS/. The German rock band Scorpions will come to the Russian tour in October and November 2017. This was reported in the press service of the organizers of the tour.

“Celebrating 50-year anniversary of a long tour, The Scorpions are not going to stop, and, therefore, the Russian fans will once again be able to hear live Wind Of Change, Rock You Like a Hurricane and other imperishable hits of the Hanover team,” – said the organizers.

The musicians will perform seven concerts. The tour will begin on October 28 in Sochi, then the rockers will perform on 30 October in Krasnodar, November 5, in Nizhny Novgorod, November 7, in Ufa and 9 November in Yekaterinburg. Moscow fans will be able to sing along to Scorpions November 1, St. Petersburg – November 5.

Russian concerts will be part of a world tour Crazy World, dedicated to the eponymous album, released in 1990 . The album is multi-platinum status, its sales exceeded 5 million copies. In the track-list includes the legendary song Wind Of Change, written under the impression of the concerts in Moscow and Leningrad in 1988 and 1989.

“When we released the album Crazy World in the end of the cold war and went on tour, the world was really crazy – but the air felt hope for a more peaceful future. Now, 26 years later, the world is getting more crazy every day. After all these years, it seems to me that a Crazy World is a good slogan for our new world tour”, – quotes the press service of the Scorpions vocalist Klaus meine.
