Secretary of the national security Council and defense of Ukraine Alexander danyluk has responded to the appeal, “ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog” in connection with the conduct of the security Service of Ukraine in Saturday’s raids at the plant.

“An alarming signal. Understand…”, – he wrote on his page in Facebook.

It was reported that security Service specialists of Ukraine on Saturday carried out searches at PJSC “ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog” (the Dnepropetrovsk region).

Earlier, the SBU opened criminal proceedings concerning PJSC “ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih” in environmental pollution under article 441 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (ecocide).

The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky criticized the “ArcelorMittal Krivoy Rog” for failure in terms of commitments to improve the environmental situation in the region and encouraged to provide targeted financial support to those people who have suffered because of the harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
