The security Service of Ukraine claim that Ukrainian-Moldovan border was strengthened regime of counter-intelligence at the entrance to Moldova in relation to the radical citizens of the Russian Federation.

To prevent the aggravation of the situation in Chisinau related to the foreign interference in the internal processes is being enforced regime of counter-intelligence at the entrance to Moldova through the territory of Ukraine by radically-minded citizens of the Russian Federation”, – reports a press-the SB center of Ukraine on Monday morning.

In the Ukrainian intelligence service also said that the operational monitor the situation in the Republic of Moldova, the domestic political situation.

“In partnership SBU constantly exchanges information with the Moldovan colleagues to preserve peace and stability in the region”, – said the press center of the Service.

As reported, the evening of 9 June, the Secretary of national security Council and defense of Ukraine Alexander danyluk reported that he had held an extended meeting on the basis of the national security Council in connection with the aggravation of the political crisis in Moldova.

The Ukrainian foreign Ministry also said that Kiev is anxiously watching the development of the political situation in neighbouring Moldova and urged to solve political disputes through political dialogue.

“We urge the leading political forces of Moldova to act within the legal framework, to resolve disputes through political dialogue to avoid violent confrontation. Important for the country and the security situation in the region is the prevention of external interference aimed at the implementation of the Russian scenario of federalization of the country”, – is spoken in the statement published on the foreign Ministry website on Sunday evening.

Ukraine is interested in stable, democratic and European Moldova is ready to provide, if necessary, assistance in the solution of existing problems. “The Republic of Moldova for Ukraine remains an important partner and neighbor with whom we share common interests and a common European future”, – concluded the Minister.
