Martin Sajdik noted that the current situation is not conducive to the success of the Minsk process.
The special representative of the OSCE in the Trilateral contact group on settling the situation in Eastern Ukraine Martin Sajdik said the current situation in the Donbas is not conducive to peace.
He stated that following the meeting of the Trilateral contact group on settling the situation in Eastern Ukraine.
“The current situation, in my opinion, is not conducive to the success of the Minsk process. On the contrary, recent events have increased tensions between the parties and have a negative impact on the process of mutual rapprochement and economic cooperation,” said Sidik .
He also noted that at the meeting of the Trilateral contact group discussed the issues of security, the ceasefire, the implementation of the agreement on the withdrawal of heavy weapons and means of civil protection and vital infrastructure.
In addition, according to him, discussed the release of hostages, the protection of civilians, especially children.
In Minsk on 15 March was held the meeting of the Trilateral contact group on settling the situation in Donbas.
