Senior officials of the ministries of defense of South Korea, USA and Japan will hold the tenth annual tripartite talks on security in Seoul next week, reports Yonhap.
Although the detailed agenda of the upcoming meeting has not yet been determined, it is expected that during the talks, scheduled for may 9, participants will discuss ways to enhance trilateral cooperation against North Korea and strengthening its military ties.
Established in 2008 annual tripartite forum with the participation of assistant Deputy Ministers aims to discuss key regional security issues, including nuclear and missile program of North Korea.
