MOSCOW, September 30. /Offset. TASS Dilshad Lomovsky/. Yekaterinburg stadium of the world Cup in 2018, according to preliminary information, may open on 15 April with a match of the championship of Russia between the local “Ural” and Moscow “Spartak”. About TASS reported the press service of the Ural club.

“The stadium in Yekaterinburg can open the match with “Spartak” on April 15. Now we are discussing that option,” – said the press service.

Earlier it was announced that “Ekaterinburg-arena” after the reconstruction will open in December. Stadium for the world Cup will be able to take 35 thousand spectators, after the tournament, the capacity will be reduced to 23 thousand. The arena will host four group stage match of the world Cup.

The world Cup will be held in Russia from 14 June to 15 July .
