The representative of President Vladimir Zelensky in Veronoi Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk allows for the consideration of the Verkhovna Rada of the presidential draft law “On amendments to the law of Ukraine “On public procurement” for the procurement during the electoral process” next week.
“As far as I know, on Monday at the conciliation Council may be re-examination, return of the law so that he still went to the Verkhovna Rada”, – said Stefanchuk the TV channel “inter” on Friday evening.
According to him, the President’s team sees the need for the adoption of such a law, based on consultations with the Central election Commission, and also considers important that in preparing the elections was the appropriate legal basis.
As reported, on may 22, MPs refused to include in the agenda of session bill No. 10319 authorship Zelensky on amendments to laws in connection with the change of the electoral system for the election of MPs and the alternative project of the law №10319-1 the authorship of the MPs.
Also, the MPs did not have enough votes for inclusion in the agenda of the session of the presidential draft law “On amendments to the law of Ukraine “On public procurement” for the procurement during the election process.”
Later, the head of the CEC of Ukraine Tatyana Slipachuk said that the Agency will not have time to prepare for the extraordinary elections to the Parliament according to the existing procurement system.
At the same time, first Deputy Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine (MEDT) Maxim nefodov notes that the current law on public procurement allows time to carry out the purchase necessary for the preparation and holding of early parliamentary elections, and sees no reason to change the law.
