The visit of North Atlantic Council to Georgia, which will be held October 3-4, will be headed by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, said on Wednesday the Georgian TV company “Imedi” the special representative of the Secretary General for the South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai.

According to him, one of the main topics of discussion during this visit will be the cooperation with Georgia on security issues in the Black sea.

“The North Atlantic Council visit to Georgia under the leadership of NATO Secretary General in October will be a good opportunity for substantive consideration of these issues. About strengthening Black sea security, we have formed an opinion. It is a priority for NATO and Georgia actively included in it,” said Appathurai.
