16-year-old Brest qualified for the world Cup, the Universiade and the Olympic games in several disciplines.

From 17 to 20 April Brest regional centre of Olympic reserve in water sports took place open championship of Belarus in swimming, writes “the Brest newspaper”.

It was attended by 295 athletes from seven countries: Belarus, Russia, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Georgia. These competitions are qualifying for the world swimming Championships at the Korean Gwangju (21 – 28 July 2019), the world Universiade in the Italian Naples (3 – 14 July 2019) and the Olympic games in Tokyo (24 July – 9 August 2020).

Belarusian Anastasia Sturdy set another record. On the first day of the championship, she swam the distance of 100 m on the back for 1.00, 59 minutes and surpassed in 0.03 seconds autobrowsing for the world Championships and Universiade. Also Nastya during the relay 4×100 m freestyle set a national Junior record of Belarus, having floated his “hundred” for 56,08 seconds.

On Friday, April 19, Brest has updated its Junior and national records. 100 m butterfly and had climbed over of 57.75 seconds. This record helped Nastya to qualify for the world Cup, the Universiade and the Olympic games.

On the final day of the competition Anastasia Sturdy won another gold medal. She swam the 200 m complex for 2.14,77 minutes and qualified for the Universiade in Naples. As a result, young Brest won in all the disciplines in which he participated, except one. She swam the 50 m butterfly faster than anyone – 26,27 seconds. But the judge revoked due to violations of the rules.
