State enterprise “international airport “Borispol” (Kiev) is the largest airport in the country, may reopen the terminal “F” with the necessary number of flights by low-cost airlines at the airport, said the head of “Borispol” Pavel Ryabikin.

“One of the KPIs of my contract is the resumption of the activities of the terminal “F” and “B”. We have already prepared a plan raskonservirovana terminal “F” to service the low-cost carriers. Once we understand that there are 15 flights low-cost companies in day, open to them the terminal “F”, otherwise it will be loss-making terminal. Likely, the opening will happen by the summer season of 2018, but the flights must be provided for this”, – he stated at the meeting with journalists in Kyiv on Friday.

Earlier, the previous head of the airport Yevhen Dykhne noted, terminal “F” is a “demonstration of state mismanagement”: when it was built, no longer fit in the strategy of development of the airport at the time .

According to the Ministry of infrastructure, in 2009-2014 in the terminal “F” has invested $40 million.
