GROZNY, February 7. /TASS./ The airline “azimuth” in April of 2018 will begin to operate flights from Grozny to Rostov-na-Donu and Moscow for the new Russian short-haul passenger aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100, reported TASS, the Minister of transport and communications of Chechnya Ramzan Cherkhigov.

“The launch of the new directions is associated with a number of reasons. First, over the past year there has been a significant increase in tourists and business representatives from Rostov-on-don. Second, the launch of a new flight to Moscow is designed to reduce the existing tariffs for passengers by creating competition in the market of air passenger transportation”, – said the head of Department.

About the new route to Grozny on the eve announced, and the airline Air Arabia from the UAE . The first flight to the capital of Chechnya will be made on 20 April from the international airport of the Emirate of Sharjah, flights will be operated three times a week.

As previously reported, in April-may 2018, also plans to launch new direct flights between Grozny and Sochi and Simferopol.
