The court’s decision will be granted only in writing. A public meeting will be held.

The court of appeals in Amsterdam will decide on the case of the Scythian gold is not 11 June, as expected, and July 16. It is reported by Radio Liberty on Thursday, June 6.

The decision will be provided in writing only, open session of the meeting will not, said the press service of the court.

It is reported that the decision promulgated together with the press release on the website at 11:00 local time.

Recall that on 14 December 2016 the district court of Amsterdam decided that the exhibits of the Crimean museums to be returned to Ukraine. The decision was rendered on the basis of the UNESCO Convention, according to which artistic values have to be returned to a sovereign state that has provided for their temporary exhibition.

But on March 28, 2017, the court of Appeal of Amsterdam received the appeal from the representatives of the Crimean museums in court decision regarding the Scythian gold. The appeal hearing started on 11 March 2019.
