The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on Saturday discussed with representatives of power structures and military leadership of the country the security situation in the Donbass, in particular in the area of human settlements Golden and Peter, where the planned disengagement.

“The head of state stressed that the safety of Ukrainians, and especially the population in the area of breeding, and sustainable peace in the East a priority for him. It is expected that next week the representatives of the authorities visit of Peter, gold and the Village Lugansk, in order to ensure that local residents are not in danger”, – stated in the message of Office of the President of Ukraine on the page in Facebook on Saturday.

The meeting was attended by chief of General staff – chief of the Armed forces of Ukraine Ruslan Homchak, the head of SBU Ivan Bakanov, the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadim pristayko, assistant to the President Andrey Ermak and others.

They also discussed the construction of a bridge across the Seversky Donets river near the village of Lugansk, where he opened a temporary transition for the citizens.

Separate attention was paid to the welfare of the combatants. Zelensky assured that no benefits for the military, defending the territorial integrity of Ukraine, will not be cancelled. “In the state budget for the following year shall be provided for the financing of social security of servicemen”, – stated in the message.
