MOSCOW, June 13. /TASS/. The system of delivery of the North in Russia will change dramatically by the end of 2018 due to the introduction of a new management system that will automate the work and to track cargo in real time, said in an interview with TASS the head of the project office of the “Northern delivery” Yulia Zvorykina.
The country has 25 regions of the Northern delivery, including eight of the Arctic, of which three subjects 100% are included in the territory of Northern delivery. Only in 2016 on the campaign of Northern imports from different sources has been allocated almost 110 billion roubles excluding the cost of large companies and the military. In turn, the new system will reduce the cost of and the importation by 30% by getting rid of middlemen and free up funds for the development of the Northern territories .
The development of transport infrastructure and modernization of the existing system will be discussed at the conference “Northern delivery – new paths of opportunity” in Naryan-Mar on June 19-20. The prospects of the new system
“We have several companies that are willing to provide digitalization of the Northern delivery, technical solutions are found, there is no problem. Now we need to figure out which of the digital operators will undertake to provide a guaranteed connection. There are many solutions that require coordination with the military, because it is the relationship and the system provides transparency in a number of places, that not all satisfied. Now the project is in the phase of approvals,” said Zworykin.
From the investment point of view the creation of the system GDS does not require large investments, the question is who will invest in the relationship. In the Nenets Autonomous district (NAO) per year imported 80 thousand tons of diesel, but fuel for steamers, taking him, spent 20 thousand tons of diesel.
