The basis for entering by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky submission on the dismissal of members of the Central election Commission (CEC) are unlawful decisions of this authority during the parliamentary election campaign, as defined by judicial decisions announced by the first Deputy head of the faction “servant of the people” in the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Kornienko.

“We have not yet studied the document. We’ll probably half the night to do it because it’s big enough. In the morning will actually be a meeting of the Subcommittee clearly on this subject. As far as I have information, of course, those are the facts of inactivity of the CEC, identified recent court decisions”, – said Kornienko reporters on Tuesday, answering a question of Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” on the grounds of the submission on the dismissal of the CEC members.

Deputy head of the faction added: “there were a lot of court decisions that determined the illegality of certain decisions of the Central election Commission during in the first place, the parliamentary campaign”.

Earlier Tuesday, some Ukrainian media reported that prepared and submitted to the office of Rada to register the corresponding representation Zelensky. The formal reason, according to the media, for “the dissolution of the CEC,” the President stated the situation in 198 constituency in Cherkasy region, where, after the claim of the candidate from “public Servants” Natalia Dyachenko, the Supreme court actually overturned the victory of independent candidate Sergei Rudyka.

First Deputy Chairman of the parliamentary Committee on anti-corruption policy Yaroslav Yurchyshyn (fraction “the Voice”) confirmed the Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” information about admission to the Verkhovna Rada President of Ukraine on early termination of powers of the current composition of the CEC.

“I don’t know if (view – if), but it has already received. But as the Committee (on the organization of state power, local self-government, regional development and urban planning – if) going, then most likely it is already registered”, – said yurchishin in comments to the Agency on the sidelines of Parliament on Tuesday.

The MP at the same time said that the President has made a submission on the dismissal of all members of the CEC. “As far as I had information – a complete change of the composition of the CEC, the dismissal of the entire composition of the CEC,” – said yurchishin.

According to article 31-1 of the law on the Central election Commission, the powers of the entire CEC membership can be terminated by Parliament at the reasoned proposal of the President of Ukraine. The decision of the Rada, according to the law, should take not less than two-thirds of its constitutional composition.
