MOSCOW, September 25. /TASS/. Council of organizing Committee on preparation to the world Cup “Russia 2018” with participation of the International football Federation (FIFA) has discussed the situation with the field at the stadium “Saint-Petersburg”. About it journalists were reported by Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the organizing Committee “Russia-2018” Vitaly Mutko.

On Monday, Moscow hosted the meeting of the organizing Committee “Russia-2018” with participation of FIFA.

“We discussed Petersburg: field, the decisions we make . We agreed that technical expertise together with specialists of “Zenith” should give the decision – to ensure we make the field in the end rolled out, whether and when to change again lawn. All the specialists come to the fact that in this enclosed space, the lawn can not grow,” – said Mutko.

Before the confederations Cup, which was held in June and July, the field in the arena in Saint-Petersburg became unfit for use, in connection with which there is a need for its replacement. In addition, this point addresses the question of the transfer of the temporary media center that prevents to take out the box from under the roof.
