The bodies of dozens of dolphins washed up on the shore of the sea in Chilia district of Odessa region, said on his page in Facebook the head of kiliysky regional Council Pavel Boychenko.

According to him, the cause of mass death of dolphins – the activity of poachers, who put to sea network on sturgeon.

“The network caught dolphins who die from suffocation. Just throw them in the sea. Over the last few days on the coast, discovered several dozen dead bodies in the area of Vilkovo – Primorskoe!”, – wrote P. Boychenko, adding that he intends to send in connection with the incident requests to the Prosecutor and the police .
