The government of Ukraine agreed with the proposal of the state property Fund about the appointment of former CEO of the company “Tekhnova” (Chernihiv CHP) Alexander Korchinsky acting General Director of PJSC “Centrenergo”.

The corresponding decree of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 205, dated 26 February, published on the government website on Wednesday.

At the same time the district administrative court of Kiev on February 28 has forbidden the state property Fund to take actions to replace members of the Board of PJSC “Centrenergo”, in particular the acting Director General of the company Vladimir Potapenko, and to make appropriate changes in the state register.

The plaintiff was one of two members of the Supervisory Board of PJSC “Centrenergo”, which was appointed on 6 November last year, a shareholder of the company Yaroslav Loud. According to the company, we are talking about Michael Gorban or about Michael hundred years – both at the time worked in the nationalized PrivatBank legal advisers.

Member of the Supervisory Board in its lawsuit pointed out that the authority to change the General Director “Tsentrenergo” and the Directorate (on the proposal of the General Director) in accordance with the Charter belongs exclusively to the Supervisory Board, and the court agreed with his arguments.

Prime Minister Alexey Goncharuk, who retired on March 4 to resign, on February 26 announced a coordinated government decision of changing the head of “Centrenergo” and later confirmed his intention to enforce this decision.
