The government of Ukraine expects to receive in the state budget by UAH 17.1 billion from privatization in 2018 and 2019, which corresponds to the indicators established in the budget 2016-2017.

A plan of income provided by the bill “About the basic directions of budgetary policy for 2018-2020” (so-called “Budget resolution”), which the government approved on June 14, according to the Ministry of Finance on its website.

The intensification of privatization of state property is named among the main tasks of the budget policy for the coming years, which is planned to expand the range of objects to be privatized, to simplify the mechanism of their sales through electronic auctions.

At the same time, according to the document, in 2020 the expected decline of budget revenues from privatization right up to UAH 0.5 billion.

As reported, last year the budget received from privatization UAH 188,92 million or 1.1% of the expected UAH 17.1 billion, a year earlier – UAH 151 .5 million, or 0.9%. For the first quarter of 2017, the privatization brought 2.9 million UAH in terms of 5.54 billion.
