Shevchenko district court of Kyiv Prosecutor’s office refused the petition on the obligation of the former head of the State fiscal service (SFS) of Ukraine and Roman Nasirov, head of Department of the SFS of Ukraine, to surrender their passports to travel abroad.
As reported by a Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office (SAP) on the page in social network Facebook on Monday held another hearing on consideration of an indictment against the former head of the state fiscal service and head of the Department of HFS.
“The Prosecutor of the SAP at the meeting filed a petition to change the preventive measure and to impose on the defendants duties to ensure proper procedural conduct, in particular, the obligation to surrender a passport to travel abroad. Previously these duties had already conferred on the accused, however, from 2 to 6 may 2019 has not acted in connection with the inability of the court to timely consider the petition of Prosecutor on extension of term of their action”, – stated in the message.
By results of consideration of the petition the panel of judges laid on the accused the obligation to appear in court on a call, to inform the court about change of the place of residence and work, to refrain from communicating with witnesses in criminal proceedings.
“The petition on the assignment of other duties, notably the duty of the accused to surrender their passports to go abroad, the panel of judges rejected”, according to SAP.
The next hearing is scheduled for 10:00 Friday, may 17, 2019.
