PARIS, June 13. /TASS/. The European Union in late June, will present for the consideration of member countries ‘ reports, which will be proposed measures in the field of security, hybrid threats, and subsequent actions in connection with the incident in Salisbury.

About the same time, the EU high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy Federica Mogherini said on Tuesday, speaking at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The deputies in the course of the day of the meeting included presentations on cooperation of the EU with NATO and the fight against cyber threats.

“The European Council, after the attack in Salisbury, called on the EU to adopt more active measures in the areas of cyber security, strategic communications, and counterintelligence . And, in close cooperation with NATO on issues of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear security”, – said the head of European diplomacy. “Currently we are working on a solution to this problem”, – said Mogherini.

“We have developed proposals will be outlined in three documents, which we will introduce in the Council of Europe at the end of this month. This is a joint report on further actions in connection with [the incident in] Salisbury, joint report on the implementation of 22 joint EU-NATO hybrid threats, as well as the report of the Union’s security”, – said Mogherini.

The Russian side has categorically denied all the speculation, arguing that programmes such substances neither in the USSR nor in Russia did not exist.

The chief doctor of the district hospital Salisbury Cara Charles-barks reported on may 18 that Sergei Skripal was discharged from the hospital. About the statement of his daughter Julia became known on April 10.
