Russian national team on hockey became an 11-time world champion

Under the leadership of St. George’s Russian national team on Sunday won the world championship in Khabarovsk, beating in the final the Swedes with the account 5:4. In the final of the world championship last year was won by the team of Sweden defeated the Russians.

“The guys defeated by the desire, commitment, dedication. Not to say that was some revenge: each tried to prove to the player that he currently is better”, – said the head of the federations.

Yuriev headed the national team in may 2017, succeeding to the post of head coach Sergey Maus. The specialist also trains “SKA-Neftyanik”. “Will he [Yuriev] in the post of the head coach, will decide the Executive Committee of the Federation”, – said Skrynnik.

Previously the world Cup was held in Khabarovsk in 1981 and 2015. “Everything went at a high level. At us in Russia all on this level is held”, – said Skrynnik.
