Business news: the Acting Minister of Finance Oksana Makarova reported that the submission of amendments to the budget for the current year is not scheduled.

The Ministry of Finance plans to submit amendments to the budget in 2018, said acting Minister of Finance Oksana Markarova .

“We are not planning, as I said, this year to come up with changes to the budget. Except that it will be about some extraordinary measures,” – said the acting Minister, in an interview.

She also said that the Finance Ministry found common ground with the International monetary Fund (IMF) in budget matters for a number of positions. However, the negotiations in this direction continue, because some of the questions require “corrective measures”.

“…But I think they will be enough to hold at the level of the Ministry of Finance or the Cabinet of Ministers”, – said O. Markarova.

Earlier, acting Minister of Finance said that Ukraine expects for a speedy resumption of funding from the IMF, as the negotiations on the remaining issues of the budget and gas prices are constructive. The limit of the budget deficit is one of the three preconditions of the IMF along with higher gas prices and making changes to the recently adopted law on Higher anti-corruption court.
