Former Deputy state Secretary of the security Council of Belarus, Andrei vtyurin caught red-handed when receiving a bribe of $148,6 thousand from the Russian company, said the state security Committee of the Republic.
“Investigation Department of the KGB charged with committing a crime under part 3 of article 430 (“receiving a bribe”) the criminal code of the Republic of Belarus, Turino Andrey Aleksandrovich. The day before he was arrested red-handed while receiving $148,6 thousand from the representative of the Russian commercial structure “G” for assistance in promoting its interests in the Republic of Belarus”, – stated in the message of the KGB.
According to the Agency, the representative of the Russian company is also charged with bribery.
“Both accused pleaded guilty to this episode in full. Applied a measure of restraint in form of detention,” – said in the Committee.
KGB continues the necessary operational-search measures and investigative actions, added the Agency.
The Embassy of the Russian Agency “Interfax-West” reported that the official information on detention of the citizen of the Russian Federation in the consular section has not been received. “The consular Department of the Embassy of Russia in Belarus, the official notification of the arrest of a Russian citizen (in this case – Interfax) have been reported,” – said the representative of the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
