The statement noted that the hearings will be held after memorial Day, celebrated in the US on may 29.

Senators were informed that hope to hear from Komi “about his role in the Russian intervention in U.S . elections 2016″ and to “clarify the recent events, which found wide coverage in the media.”

The senators hope that the testimony of the former Director of the FBI will be useful for independent investigation in relation to Russia, which leads the intelligence Committee.

We will remind, the President of the United States Donald trump fired Komi Republic, saying that he is unable to lead the Bureau.

Later in mass media there were a number of revelations, including that the American leader asked the Komi Republic to terminate the investigation against the former adviser of the President Michael Flynn. In this regard, the opposition Democrats suspected trump of meddling in justice.
