Guards Kramatorsk border guard prevented smuggling of tobacco products from the temporarily occupied territories, the press service of the State border service of Ukraine on Friday.

“The man moved the car “Mercedes Sprinter”. During the inspection of the machine, which he followed from Gorlovka Bakhmut, border patrol found 15 thousand packs of cigarettes in constructive features of the vehicle. Different brands of cigarettes without excise duty were hidden under the headliner and in the lower niche of the Luggage compartment. The preliminary cost of the identified tobacco – 300 thousand UAH”, – said the press service of the Ministry.

The guards handed over the offender and the seized cigarettes to representatives of State fiscal service of Ukraine.
