The head of the security Service of Ukraine Vasily Gritsak on Friday in Kiev was handed to the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Samat III the remains of a Kazakhstan-born warrior, who died during the Second world war.
As the press service of the SBU, the remains of two soldiers were found by the cadets of the National Academy of the SBU during the search expedition. One of the victims has been identified as lance Sergeant of AIP Ramazanova, a native of Kazakhstan. He had been missing since January 29, 1942.
“The service has done everything possible to the remains of the AIP Ramazanova was buried in his native land on the eve of the state holiday of Kazakhstan (16-17 December independence Day of Kazakhstan – Interfax)”, – said V. Hrytsak.
According to the press service, the students of the Academy in 2016 found the remains of 57 dead soldiers that were reburied with full military honors .
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan expressed gratitude to the security service and cadets of the Academy for participating in this noble mission. According to him, tomorrow the remains of A. Ramazanov will arrive home where they will be met with military honors.
The students of SBU handed over to the military family found personal items: military badge, the badge of GTO, tabs Sergeant and the mouthpiece.
