The head of the national security Directorate of the presidential administration of the Republic of Korea Chung Yy Yong is on an unofficial visit to Washington at the request of the national security Council (NSC) USA. This was announced on Friday at a briefing in Seoul, the official representative of the South Korean leader.

“Jung First Yong will meet with the assistant to the President for national security John Bolton to discuss issues related to denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,” he said.

Previously, the Blue house announced plans this trip, stating only that Jung First Yong took a few days off. The representative of presidential administration of South Korea said that this was due to the demand of the American side not to distribute the information about the visit .
